Emby container running on Synology - DTS-HD MA transcoding issue

This is a known issue with the Universal Android app, and another reason why the Android TV app is still the better app. This issue has been on-going for almost 2 years now, and there has been no progress thus far. @ebrwill have to reply about the ATV app issue, but I have never seen that issue before. -

Already found the error. It's a permission problem of the share to the NAS. Western Digital grants only read permissions with public shares, no write permissions. Will Emby support NTLM auth for SMB shares in the future? As I see in the code that there is already a NTLM auth variable in the function.

Hi Luke asap I will come back to home I will indicate the version of APP, in the meantime I tested also on my Android mobile ver 3.3.77 and now also there the movies is playd wrong before instead it was fine. Also if you rotate the mobile phone the immage is always put in a wrong position

No, it happens to me when it is not being used. I found other threads talking about it but I don't know the solution. I try with docker emby and linux emby docker, same problem. i need a fix

What do you mean with 10+ applications? Even with your suggested "powershell script" you would still need applications like NSSM to create the Emby service as running as an application has some downsides on a server, or an application like Certify the web for the automatic SSL renewal. The rest are extensions to Microsoft IIS. Those are not á lot of apps. It is a basic Reverse proxy setup. -

Was the issue fixed? I’m heaving the same issue on 4.9.0.14. If I have an adult library that is not shared, on search all “people” under the adult library are shown. Filtering is working as under actor there are no scenes, but there are some posters that are not ok for kids

Hi, we've identified and resolved an issue where some incorrect items can end up being played when playing or shuffling a genre. For those seeing a crash or slow performance when playing or shuffling a genre, I think the fix will help with that as well. This will be on the beta channel in a day or two and then backported to the next 4.8.X maintenance release next week. Thanks.

I was thinking maybe I'd end up with something similar to way I was doing things...auto updating is good, but I'd still end up with every movie in a decade collection if I enable the Group Items into Collections thing (which I'd prefer to do).

Double check your missing episodes screen. I recently found I had miss titled and had duplicate episodes that was messing up my count. IE. I had 30 episodes total but ended up having two copies of s03e02. Which gave me the correct 30 total but was the reason Statistics was only registering 29. -

Would you be ok with the addition of "Go To Show" and "Go To Season" options on the context menu for TV show episodes? So that say in a "New Episodes" widget one would have the option of going from that episode directly to the related Show/Season page? I've already written initial code that does it, but I'm not going to pretend that you won't have to look at it and go there's an edge case you're not handling here so it would increase your workload. I've not added the two strings to the translation files either. -

Which kind of picture is it? Actor, episode, movie etc. Could be a skin issue or I mistakenly used path substitution for images at some point. btw, this could also happen for video content when using path substitution and is not an issue. The plugin tricks Kodi thinking videos are regular files. Kodi does not extract embedded images (e.g. for chapter) if it's a http link even it's technically possible (hardcoded disabled in Kodi). The / at the end happens when Kodi (or you manually) tried to read folder structure and is intercepted by the plugins "webserver". 404 is correct. -
Coincidence, I tested that yesterday and seems to work. I'll review it again...
