So that points to somehow skins are getting a bad link to non-cached images. Could be the skins, but odd that it's two different ones.

Cached images are downloaded to Kodi (userdata/Thumbnails). http/urls queries are no longer used at this point. Actually Kodi always caches images once loaded by a view (visible). The cache option does the same but without browsing views. It loads the images in advance.

The actual problem I noticed that made me look in the logs is that background images (fanart) were not showing. Then the logs showed all the errors. I noticed a few shows did show the art though, and realized it was shows that had loaded the image by visiting the show information page->show art which moved it into the cache. So then I did the cache all and now the images are working. So I don't know what's different to the skins when they fetch from cache vs not from cache. Do they somehow get different locations? Or is it purely a timeout? I didn't see this problem on 20.5, it started with 21.0. It's happening on two different skins.

Hello, When adding a Movie or TV Show to the manual Top picks it breaks the thumbnail image which is displayed in the continue watching section. The web browser developer console states "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found).", going to the URL requested displays a blank web page with the following text "The file '/cache/images/enhanced-images/8/8bf87df86099eb110ae364397c97bc6c.png' could not be found.". Navigating to "/var/lib/emby/cache/images/enhanced-images/8/" on the computer hosting the server verifies that the file is not present. Changing the image via the edit images GUI does not fix this. The Top Picks library (Created by the plugin) loads the thumbnail correctly and the image is loaded from the following URL (serverip and port) /emby/Items/8130/Images/Thumb?tag=00705a9ca08fc4be3d9d1ebee3c6ea55&quality=90 The TV Shows library is requesting the broken (missing thumbnail) from (serverip and port) /emby/Items/7310/Images/Thumb?tag=8bf87df86099eb110ae364397c97bc6c&quality=90&maxWidth=350 Server version: 4.8.5.0 Top Picks version: 1.0.0.60 Log file attached. Yep - it now appears the logs are not using the previously method.. Infact - it appears they are not formulating a decent error log at all for failed auth .. All they appear to be logging is via the UserManager - the IP info is now in a different http response message, unrelated to the failure .. oh dear. Do you have Diagnostics plugin installed? If so, try enabling Hardware Subtitle Overlay (Disabled by default), see how does that compare. Note that any change in Diagnostic options doesn't survive server restart.

Based on the screenshots you've provided so far "Source Port" in the table view should be "Server port" in the configuration view. As it stands currently I believe you've basically told it that any incoming port request should be forwarded to your server's http port so it should be: External IP Addr - Empty (which should allow all) External Start Port - 8096 External End Port - 8096 Protocol - TCP Server IP Address - 192.168.1.52 Server port - 8096 If this configuration still doesn't work, do you have a device in front of this one (ISP provided modem/router aka gateway) or does it handle the modem capabilities as well? Have you checked if your connection uses a CGNAT?

Never mind. I got it sorted out. I just cleared out the Metadata and let it rebuild.

I have had a clean file structure for years so I'm not quite sure why this is happening. Its probably something stupid I overlooked. But in the continue watching area it will show the same movie between 2 and four times. Also in the collections and some other screens the same movie shows up like four times. I haven't changed anything on my end. It just started happening. Thoughts?

Hm these are closed captions. Closed captions are strange in their handling in that they don't appear as a separate track, it's part of the video track from my understanding. I see this is an mp4 but even if it was an mkv it still wouldn't show up as its own track. The only way I've found to be able to remove them is using ffmpeg, but I also don't see why running the same command manually would be fast, especially with no throttling enabled. Do you have any other files with closed captions like this? Do they also behave in the same way?

Mais sur la Shield ??????? Ma médiathèque est sur un disque externe relié à la Shield en USB 3 J'ai installé Emby sans problème sur ladite Shield depuis le store mais MAINTENANT ?????????? Il me demande sans arrêt une adresse IP, un nom de serveur, .... Je ne sais même pas à quoi a servi le code PIN que j'ai du enregistrer .... Quelqu'un pour venir à mon secours ? Merci par avance

I would download into a separate directory that Emby doesn't scan, and move completed downloads to their destination, which should be an instant action. Paul

Hi @Luke FYI, Below is the header for Genre->Type -> Albums -> Show All If I click the Shuffle Button ... The Client (Store: Emby Theater - Release Server) (Web - Beta .14) crashes the Emby Server (it becomes unresponsive, can't shutdown or restart) it requires a machine reboot. Not sure what is going on. Attached are the last three server logs from my test machine. My test run was run this morning embyserver.txtembyserver-63849600000.txtembyserver-63849635001.txt I will test again when the changes are pushed to beta -Vicpa

Confirmed, only happens in native mode. I'll try to fix it.

Please also check in the Emby's dashboard if really only audio is transcoding. There are infos available while you play content.

What is the actual problem? Not loaded? The paths in the db are fine. Not sure why skin (or something else) thinks it's a folder. Stat might be ok even for webserver files. Not sure if stat can process urls.
