Adding in a screenshot of the "Add" page. I've circled how I navigated to this particular page. I'll give it a shot and see what happens. I can't find the Port Forward option no matter where I look. I found Port Filtering and am not sure if it accomplishes the job. canyouseeme reports that it cannot see the service (Reason: Connection timed out). I was able to see the server from my workplace but only rarely and no media was streamable. Okay, I'll move the device and connect it via Ethernet. It's a NUC so moving it around isn't a hassle.

Hi! Trying to use the script, but I'm getting the following error. Can someone help? Thanks Getting Library Items. This can take a while. Fair comment. I should have been clearer. I was looking for something more back end that would allow me to hide media browsing in the user interface, only showing playlists there. I definitely see how to do it in the front-end interface when media is browsable. I was hoping for a playlist builder of some sort in the admin UI or offline that could help with that. If not, the front-end works great I just won't be able to hide that for normal use. Chris

What's the ETA on the next release with that logging?

Right. Maybe if the OP can share the page where that info is entered, "Add" button. It might be a little clearer there.

Xbox Series X no HEVC 4K HDR/Dolby Vision Direct Play
MBSki replied to TwIXx's topic in Emby Theater
I'm not seeing any change. 4k content just causes the app to crash on my Xbox Series X. -
Agreed - it's very odd terminology on the router GUI. If 'External Start' and 'External End' Port means 'source' - then you can maybe add 1 as the Start and 65535 as the End. (in other words 'any'), or maybe leave those empty/blank. Destination port is the key one (as that is what emby is listerning on) - these need to be 8096 or 8920, but the source port is generally any port.

Yes, a server error. I have right now the latest stable but i try with docker other versions to check if the problem exists. I test with a friend in other debian 12 - nvidia, proxmox - nvidia, same movie and the same error appears I post here too the same problem. Thanks

Unfortunately it still doesn't work.

The next recording went into the correct folder in the file system and library. Not sure what caused it to go wrong and hope that does not happen again, but for now it is working.
-
So this is a server transcoding error, not client specific and happening on multiple different clients. Have you tried updating to the latest server version? Both of these are quite old now. It might not solve it, but we might be wasting our time on an issue that's already resolved.

Hmm, but the is something strange here, when I look at my Emby Server on two different computers both using Google Chrome, it looks slightly different. This one looks like it use to do: https://i.imgur.com/SCoSMmf.png And here is the one with the "new" look: https://i.imgur.com/IIE34QW.png

All episodes on the season dissapear from kodi after deletion

What's "skip to next episode"? Sounds not like a e4k plugin option and frankly, "ask for deletion after watching" is not well tested. I don't use it and not really testable for me without modifying the code (faking the delete). I don't want my content actually deleted. -

As I read the "help" text on your router page my guess is it's a language translation mixup. Possibly meant to say destination, not source port.
-
Ok, I felt there was something different, it looks nice! I hope we get the same style in the app versions.

It doesn't matter what device you play on, the problem is when you request a transcoding and the server for "x" reason gives an error, thats not happen in 4.7.6.0, tested on same devices 07:56:03.704 Too many packets buffered for output stream 1:1. 07:56:03.858 Conversion failed! 07:56:03.858 EXIT EDIT: Another log with 4.7.6.0 working good ffmpeg-transcode-e582f343-9097-4023-a6cf-71f80457f260_1.txt

I have the problem now that plugins have permission problems to write to the shared folder. When I mount it via CIFS with the same user I also set up in emby to login to the share I am able to write files. Could it be that plugins are not using the credentials when writing to a SMB share? And yes, I know mounting it via CIFS inside linux would be the better solution. But I am also reporting this behaviour of Emby.

Yes, there was some talk about the changes in the beta

So which device are you now having issues with? That last log is not for playback on a SamsungTV.
