  2. What's "skip to next episode"? Sounds not like a e4k plugin option and frankly, "ask for deletion after watching" is not well tested. I don't use it and not really testable for me without modifying the code (faking the delete). I don't want my content actually deleted.

Need help opening ports on router

As I read the "help" text on your router page my guess is it's a language translation mixup. Possibly meant to say destination, not source port.

    Font change?

Ok, I felt there was something different, it looks nice! I hope we get the same style in the app versions.

I have the problem now that plugins have permission problems to write to the shared folder. When I mount it via CIFS with the same user I also set up in emby to login to the share I am able to write files. Could it be that plugins are not using the credentials when writing to a SMB share? And yes, I know mounting it via CIFS inside linux would be the better solution. But I am also reporting this behaviour of Emby.

Is Linux (Mint or uBuntu or ???) right for me?

Thank you! This is great. I have the new PC to use for testing Linux and was pleasantly surprised to find that it's exactly as advertised and works very well. I had to be away for a bit, but am looking forward to getting into this now. Thanks again for your help!

    Hide blocked tags

When you tag an episode for specific viewing, it appears on the home screen but strangely vanishes when you browse through all the TV series. This inconsistency confuses users, disrupting their viewing experience. Ensuring these tagged episodes remain visible across all sections would greatly improve user satisfaction and navigation ease. This feature is highly requested, and implementing it would greatly enhance the platform's usability. It doesn't make sense for these episodes to only show up in recent additions; they should be visible throughout the entire catalog for individually tagged episodes within TV series.

Clear / Remove All Download Queue

I'm eagerly awaiting the App Store update, hoping to finally remove the download icon. On my server, I don't want to allow content downloads, rendering the download icon entirely unnecessary. It would be fantastic if my users had the option to remove it through a dedicated setting. Additionally, I'd like Emby's tags to function more accurately. Currently, if a user is only allowed to view episode 2 of a TV series, it's odd that the series only appears on the home screen and disappears when viewing all TV series. This behavior isn't entirely sensible; the episode should be visible even when browsing all TV series.

Need help opening ports on router

The fact that even a single packet worked, means you have remote connectivity. canyouseeme should also now say the port is open. btw - make sure you used the port forward option, not the port trigger option (if it has it). It's really not ideal, but it should work, but for reliability/performance reasons especially as it's in the same room - I would invest in a suitable wired ethernet connection.

    Emby Sweeper

Wow! I see what you meant about a complete re-write. This is now a very impressive tool and something Emby should have put in the core years ago. Very well written examples as well, I actually understood them first time As my media is only watched by my wife and I I only have one user so up to now I doubted I'd be using batch. In fact I think the command I have been testing will do the job. The only task I need to work out now is how to delete the last episode in a series that has ended. The logic I was considering is; The series has ended There are no unwatched episodes There is only one watched episode Delete the episode That will leave an empty folder which can be cleaned up by Sonarr at the next scan. As currently I manually cleanup using Sonarr and I recall you said you do this as well I reckon it will be a useful addition. I was thinking of running two scheduled tasks with the daily cleanup of watched episodes and then a weekly deletion of finished series but now the batch is an option I might be brave and dive in. My current command is; serieskeep --log-file=EmbySweeper-log.txt --server-host="localhost" --server-login="system admin" --server-password=Password --server-port=8099 --lib-include "TV Shows" --cleanup-user=TV --filters=IsPlayed=true --min-age-days=0 --keep 1 As a use case I think it may be similar to many users requirements so an example would be nice
  19. If those keys have ever been unintentionally published and scraped (such as in previously posted unobfuscated logs for other issues) - then your system may be vulnerable. I would change them peroidically - a manual api key has the equivalent of a full admin user with no password, so keep those keys secret.
  20. I'm happy to report that the bug dissapears when moving emby addon to "addon" mode instead of native. So it's a bug found in native mode only. Since my kodi, emby server and media are all connected locally, I always used native mode, but if there is no other disadvantage to going Addon mode, I'll stay in this mode.

    embyforkodi (next-gen) 10.X.X support

An update on the picture issue, I set the cache all images option and let it cache everything and now it loads the images fine. So is this a timeout solved by caching or something else?
  25. Why are you on 4.8.0.80? The post-release fixes have taken it to 4.8.5.0 now. Paul
