As soon as 4.8.3.0 was reinstalled, everything worked perfectly fine. I was getting an error when trying to play anything that said "Playback Error No compatible streams are currently available."

It's about half the way down in the sync options.

I'm noticing there is no Ubuntu X64 4.8.4.0 release. Was this missed by mistake?

What platform? As there are already 2 other topic and will guess if you need Emby now you will have to disable autoupdate and downgrade to 4.8.3.0.

Upgrading to server version 4.8.4.0, my emby can't watch videos anymore. Videos with embedded subtitles can no longer display subtitles.hi this is an inquiry about update of Emby that is made recently. Unfortunately after I updated the application al contens cannot be played - a message pops up saying display error. Please could you advise how to repair it? Many thanks.

I have the same issue. This not what I had in mind when updating to the newest version. I also am using the x86_64 version for Synology.

Currently if it is a showstopper for your server you would have to disable auto update and rollback to 4.8.3.0 until they resolve the package issue. Note all new media will most likely have to be manually refreshed on rollback or fixed package.

Looks like the same issue as Synology eventhough you are on QNAP so nothing is getting probed. /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer/bin/ffmpeg: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenCL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Have to wait on devs or the package builder.

I see a bunch of FFmpeg errors. Never had this issue until I upgraded today. I'm on Qnap embyserver.txt

it's kind of a pain to convert iso into mkv depending on the dvd type or genre it is. normal movies are pretty straight forward but workout dvds or anything similar with lot's of chapters and video files can be nerve-wracking. I've given up hoping that good ISO playback will ever come. However, I have now realised that I no longer miss these DVDs that much anyway. The quality of DVDs is miserable. Not even Full HD ...., which gives you eye cancer anyway.

Ok, I'll see if the Emby team has any input on it, thanks for your help. I've never needed to separately install packages to get Emby to work on my DS220+ before so I'm guessing there's maybe an oversight here, so maybe I can help if they need input from a Synology owner. If I do have to fumble through installing weird stuff, I'll try to revert back to 4.8.3.0 if it lets me and revisit when I have more time.

I do not see this option in my server anywhere but it says this on the update 4.8.4.0 Add series recording option to check all libraries for existing episodes Also I do not see any new options in any of my settings buttons. There is nothing to remove or fix my duplicate tv shows? maybe there is an app to remove all duplicate videos?? or does it delete them as it finds them when they are detected on attempt to record? or no deletion detection fix.. just a do not record something that is already existing? i can see it recording right now.. two shows that have already been watched with a green checker. nothing to stop that yet? I dont want to record shows that have already been watched by the person that has selected it to record. but maybe that is something that has to stay. not sure
