Hi, I have a pretty basic router from my ISP, no AP isolation.

since ALAC isn't supported by FFx, when I click the track that Emby stalls on, what makes it then play?

On the Downloads page, I was able to see "downloaded" tracks, but it also only showed tracks I had already downloaded. In the "My Media" list, I can only see all online tracks, whether they are downloaded or not. What I'm trying to say is that it seems impossible to see which tracks are 'downloaded' or 'not downloaded' in the list of all media. What I actually want is to be able to intuitively tell which tracks are "undownloaded" from my media so that I can download them. For example, give a small tag to an item you haven't downloaded. I don't know if this feature already exists. If this feature does not exist, we hope to add it in the future.

Hello Everyone, Recently playback for some of my movies freeze every few seconds. It has worked fine for years until recently. I have three 10TB Hard Drives and I have found two of the drives contain all of the movies that freeze. All of the movies on the other drive works fine. I did try to move a movie for the problem drives to a new drive but it still freezes. I thought maybe the drives were dying. Any ideas on this? Hi, I will try to sideload the app, could you please let me know what security watchdog items you are referring to? I have a router with intergrated firewall. The FW is currently disabled and still does not work. My router just performs NAT-ing and PortForwarding. I tested with UPnP as well but that also does not work. I have activated UPnP on both Router and EmbyServer. I will sideload the app and let you know how it goes. Kind regards

or somehow point FFx to FFmpeg to transcode?

I initially thought the issue was with my video files. When I play a .mkv file directly, the playback intermittently stops as if the server connection is temporarily lost. This issue occurs only with Safari and the Mac Emby app, while it plays fine on Chrome. I'll check if it's caused by reverse proxy and add the information.

I just added the code to keep the top genre and tags pull downs in sync with the chosen media type. In my initial pass through writing the Quick-Start code I left this capability out. Vic PseudoTV.dll

Weird, In the web browser, if I faster forward or click on the bar to 2min or so, it plays fine. Maybe its the graphic intro causing this?>?>? Is that possible? Intro

if this post in wrong location please let me know and i will re post I've had Emby for a number of years and never had a problem at all, i have the server on my computer and play my media via 2 different Nvadia shields both have different versions of software and via my tablets or phone also different versions of Emby it seems , all at home. Up until today all have worked super with never a problem, from today for some reason after 5 to 10 mins the media freezes, and sometimes restarts after 2 or 3 mins, this is with 264 or 265 files, I even bought premier as i hoped this might solve the problem but no luck, if i play the media via other players like VLC they do not stop or freeze. any suggestions to assist if you need any other info please let me know how to obtain as not the best on these things

So Myanimelist has both the original and English voice actors for shows on their site. Recently I have been manually deleting and adding the English actors (as I only do dubbed) but it would take forever. I do have preferred Metadata as English but it makes no difference. Is there a way to have the info off Myanimelist pull the English actors rather then the original ones on dubbed animes pull and load? Would save so much time seeing that I am at about 30TB right now?? Thank you.

Looks like it's sorted now. I didn't do anything so I'm assuming this was sorted on the opensubtitles end.

As I mentioned those pics are from the web browser on PC, I included them to show this is not platform specific. The fist pic is the resulting playlist when selecting shuffle from the menu on the Country genre icon.(below pic) The second pic is showing the high cpu usage during the very long wait after clicking through Music>Genres>Country>Songs>Shuffle; though this results in tracks only from the selected genre. This happens with all genres, I just chose Country as it's the most obvious to quickly see the wrong tracks.

I tried that exact thing to no avail before posting this thread. The only way I was able to get it to refresh without closing was to start watching something else and then come back.

Have you tried combining the files using a free program like mkv tool nix?
