Theater app not honoring subtitle change during stream

This might actually be across all platforms in the theater app. But I am experiencing this on my LG tv. 

 

Not sure if anyone else can replicate this.

I'll check Xbox next, just to see.

Here is what happens.

Start a stream with subtitles enabled.

This causes a transcode in most cases.

When the stream has started, stop the subtitles using the gear icon in the info bar of the app.

This will briefly interrupt the stream while the app starts to play again without subtitles.

Most cases the stream will begin direct play.

However, you will notice that the stream does not direct play, instead the subtitles are still enabled, even though they are shown as off in the UI.

If you back out if the stream to the details page you can see they are still enabled.

If you shut them off in the media details screen, prior to starting the stream, they will turn off and work as expected.
