I have not been able to get this to work.

I generally check Emby every couple weeks as to the latest update, but I was forced to upgrade to DSM 7 (by Synology) and couldn't even log into the device to check with this latest update.

Since upgrading to DSM 7, I have tried uninstalling Emby, I've engaged support to help me actually get it uninstalled (it wouldn't work with the normal Uninstall button), once they got it uninstalled, I then went through and manually removed all config/logs/data etc folders via SSH, have tried reinstalling, and it just looks... corrupt on attempted re-installs:

 (I've tried this from the Synology Package Center as well as a manual download and install, same result as shown below)

I'm at a loss as to what to do now.

It will "Run" for a few seconds, but always goes back to this:

Then when you try to look at the package (this is after clearing out all directories manually), it looks like this:

Hi,

Why didn't you follow the directions here in the first post?

Buenos días. He realizado la migración de DSM 6 a 7.1 siguiendo los pasos de este POST y ha funcionado todo correctamente. Exceptuando que el centro de paquetes está roto y no se puede detener el servicio de Emby, ni desinstalar, ni nada... pero eso tengo entendido que es culpa de Synology.

Lo único que no se ha migrado bien son las fotos de los usuarios, que sale como un vínculo roto. En el panel del servidor Emby no se ven las fotos y en la app de los usuarios tampoco. Sabéis si hay alguna forma de recuperarlas?.

When you say user's photos, are you referring to user profile images?

In the web app what URL does it show for the broken images?

Hola Carlo, sí me refiero a las imágenes de los perfiles de usuario pero se ha arreglado solo, al rato ya han aparecido las imágenes. Muchas gracias igualmente :)
