axxe 1
Hi, I have had a working emby server running in a Truenas Jail, installed using the standard FreeBSD install procedure from inside the jail. It has worked well for the last 6 months, playing on an LG TV App, Fire Stick App, phone app and browser, but now some media doesn't play and appears to lock up the client. Attached are logs from an attempt to play from the browser. I can create logs for the LG TV and Fire Stick if needed to help troubleshoot. embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-69e87009-6374-49b1-9b2c-8f694dc76683_1.txt
Duffyx 25
I have also observed this. Although for me it has only happened playing back music. After a while it makes emby-server core dump. 4.5.x branch was fine 4.6.x is not. Edited July 5, 2021 by Duffyx
axxe 1
Additional Info: I am on the Beta program and although the attached logs have been produced by V 4.7.0.3, I have only just upgraded to this version whilst trying to troubleshoot, it was running on 4.6.0.46 If I try: ~~~sh /usr/local/lib/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg --version ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libavdevice.so.58" not found, required by "ffmpeg" ~~~ This may be a red herring, but thought I would include, just in case
