Not sure what I am doing wrong, tried everything I have read and can think of

I added xTeve links to plex and Emby, Plex shows them all in the guide and Emby only shows the very few channels, no guide info and no channel logo either?

I want to use Emby so its frustrating why it works for one and not the other.

Both setup as Hd Homerun with xTeve ip URL, and then using the xTeve XEPG URL.

Any guidance will be much appreciated?

Hi, Try using the m3u and XML from xteve in Emby and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for coming back so quick!

I just tried and the channels disappeared from the side and nothing in the guide.

Its very bizarre as all channels are mapped in the channel list.

Its good to go just cannot get them to show in the guide or the guide to show.

Did you wait for a full guide refresh?

Does the m3u link work in VLC?

I did but my guide date does not look like the screenshots I have seen on all the threads I have looked at, so the refresh only lasts seconds which does not seem correct.

 

 

 

Just for clarity when entering the M3U, do i enter the full xTeve address or just the IP? i have entered full addres for M3U it all maps fine, I only have very few channels filtered.

 

Works fine in VLC, and have been watching it on plex too.

This is how the guide data looks, and there only 30 channels, all my uk/aus/nz channels (the ones filtered) are mapped, and also appear fine in plex.

Found the issue, for whatever reason "refresh guide data" flashed up grey and then went away it never showed the green progress bar.

 

I reinstalled EMBY (Beta), cleared any browsing data on the off chance, and set it up, the green progress bar appeared. Now I have what I expected, result!
