Hi!

Sometimes, my scheduled recordings only record a few minutes. And when the recording is added to the library, it says the recording is around 13 hours long ! When, i start playing it, it works for a few minutes, then freezes and I cannot watch further.

Help on this would be greatly appreciated !

I am using the latest server version : 4.6.3.0

Here is my server log. See recording that starts at 6:30 AM.

Hi, can you turn off Network->Enable automatic port mapping.  Since you're not using UPnP the port mapping is just spamming your logs so turning this off will make reading your logs much easier.

Is this a Hauppauge tuner?  If so which model?

Can you go to scheduled tasks and run the rotate log job.

Then schedule something for recording and once it fails upload the new server log?

@Luke

I did the "rotation of logs" and I am waiting for the problem to happen again.

What is weird with my problem is that it only happens with one specific show, and only on the weekends (saturday and sunday morning). The same show played this morning and the recording was ok. Also, all my other recordings succeed. Might be a problem with the guide info ?

I guess we will see what happens with the recording next saturday... I will keep you informed.

EDIT : I also cancelled the recording and re-added it.

It seems like reprogramming the show fixed the problem. If it ever happen again, I will remake a post with the details.

Thank you for your help !
