Update von Version 4.5.4.0 auf Version 4.6.2.0

Hallo, nach dem Update sind alle Bibliotheken WEG???

Gibt es was zu beachten bei der neuen Version?

Zuvor erstelltes Backup wieder Eingespielt damit alles wieder da ist.

Hi, One of the things you want to do after this major update is go to the admin Library menu and do a full library scan.

Hallo,
Einen Bibliotheksscan wollte ich mir ja ersparen den bei 3900 Filmen und 1300 Serien braucht das ziemlich lange.
Es werden dann auch nicht alle Covers usw. erkannt und ich muss stundenlang wieder alle Cover usw. durchgehen.
Ich werde die Version 4.5.4.0 beibehalten denn in einem Monat bekomme ich neue Hardware und dann setze ich ein neues Emby mit der aktuellen Version auf.

Dennoch wundert mich das die Bibliothek einfach weg sind…

Ich hätte noch eine Frage warum Filme oder Serien die mit „The“ und „Das“ beginnen nicht alphabetisch eingeordnet werden?
Oder ist das mit der neuen Version behoben?
Im Grunde bin ich mit Emby sehr zufrieden und werde auch mein Emby Premiere Verlängern.

Hi, common words such as: a, the, the are ignored but this is configurable by editing the system.xml file.

On my windows system this file is found at \ Users \ Administrator \ AppData \ Roaming \ Emby-Server \ programdata \ config \ system.xml

With Emby Server shutdown make a copy of the system.xml file (just in case) and then edit it with a text editor. Look for this section or something very similar to it:

  <SortRemoveWords>
    <string>the</string>
    <string>a</string>
    <string>an</string>
    <string>das</string>
    <string>der</string>
    <string>el</string>
    <string>la</string>
  </SortRemoveWords>

You can edit that list as needed, then save the file and restart Emby.

You'll need to refresh metadata on existing titles after doing that, just be aware.

ich habe alles zwischen <SortRemoveWords> und </SortRemoveWords> rausgeschmissen und musste dennoch die ganzen Bibliotheken neu Einlesen lassen. Danach hat die Sortierung gestimmt.

Ich Frage welchen sin das  <SortRemoveWords> hat???

Mittlerweile ist bereits die Version 4.6.3 da und ich frage mich was geht da alles nicht mehr???

Sind die Bibliotheken wieder alle weg???

Es gibt extrem viele Leute die einfach die Artikel nicht dabei haben wollen. Speziell im englischen will man wohl nicht 100 Filme haben mit "THE" bei uns im deutschen macht das schon sinn weil es oft ein grundlegender Teil des Filmtitels ist.

Diese Funktion erlaubt eben das entfernen von "Der", "Die", "Das" usw. ich selbst habs auch lieber dabei und habs mir über die system.xml einfach wieder aktiviert.

Das war weil es eine Grundlegende Funktionsänderung bei diesen Updates gab wie die Bibliotheken gesehen werden bzw. sich verhalten, das war bei mir auch vor allem die Musik war bei mir betroffen.

Allerdings beim Update auf 4.6.4 gab es keine Probleme mit den Bibliotheken die waren ganz normal vorhanden nach dem Update.
