After reading the forums it's recommended to transcode (Remux) by preventing live tv from "direct playing". The option to do this isn't present on the TV apps or at least I cannot see it.... You simply go to the "Live Tv" section in settings and uncheck "Direct Play Live TV" (attached) This remuxes the stream rather than fully transcodes it and allows you to rewind etc. The option exists because you cannot rewind a "direct play" live tv stream from a TV tuner (in Emby).
