dv1r 25
Hi All, Since I migrated my HDD array to a new DSM things have not been going very smoothly. In the music front things are the worst. It seems like all of my music library has been duplicated. rescanning the library does not resolve this issue. in addition, new music is not identified automatically. How can I rectify this without loosing all of the data(play counts and manual metadata insertions etc.)
Luke 37060
Hi there, have you run a full scan of all libraries?

dv1r 25
So yes I did. It didn't help.
Carlo 4330
Looking at your titles it looks like you have 2 versions these songs with different artists. Just curious, but what does the tagging look like for Break Free and Problem? Can you show the tags on these from something like mp3tag?
Happy2Play 8281
If you select edit metadata on each of the tracks is the path the same?

Yes it was. @cayars instructed me to perform a "database vacuum" and that the reboot should take a while but it didn't. After reboot, the duplicates were still there. But now (a day later) they are gone. I am assuming the "DB vacuum" ran in the background. I dont know, but it seems to be resolved now. Thank you
