Sorry for misunderstanding, mate - this is a thread about a media center theme, not skinning a media browser theme, after all..!

Have a search on the old CT for BAS' Pearl skinning guide - there is a lot of commonality between the Pearl and Neo skinning engines.

Lee, will the Venus EHS not give you something a bit closer to what you're after?

Just wondering if there is a way to turn down the volume of the welcome voice, seems very load.

@Nick's MCE - see my answer to when you first asked this question (but I need to edit that answer when I get home (perils of posting from phone...))

@Lee - there are 3 EHS styles in Neo: Neo, Mercury and Venus. These are selectable from the Neo options (in MBC, click the spanner/wrench and Neo settings). The setting to change is called something like "EHS Style" - working from memory here...

Hey keef. This looks good. Does the ehres change in windows 8? Or is it comparable with the win7 version?

Hey chef! To be honest, I'm not sure about the W8 ehres. I've not really looked at it - I just tell Media Center Themer what images to replace and give it the images. It does all the hard work! I'm travelling just now, but I'll have a look with Restorator when I get home.

Thanks, actually I worked it out from the discussion about the WAV file for the clicking on the MCE home screen. I found the WAV file for the clicking and for the Welcome and then took them both into a free audio editor program and saved them at 50% volume, then just replaced the originals, worked perfectly. Thanks for the help!.

Alwin, just a quick comment - do you have a TV tuner? i.e. do you ever see the red/green/blue/yellow teletext type buttons in WMC? You need to be careful with bulk recolouring - these TWOFOOT.CONTROL images need to retain some of their original colour.
