moiahbabi 6 Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 Hello, the IOS app is able to use custom fonts attached to the MKV files and styles from SSA/ASS files, and this is same whether the subtitle file is embedded or external to the MKV as long as the MKV file contains the fonts used in styles, all without having to burn-in subtitles to the video stream. can this experience be replicated in the Web App? 1
Luke 38808 Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 Hi, this is much harder to do in the web browser, but you never know as new capabilities emerge, we may be able to take advantage of them to do this.
