Bazmax 1
With failing eyesight the minimum display setting I can use in Windows is 125%. My problem is that with a even a 125% I lose an essential part of my Emby display. As an example I lose the Setting "gear" and the Search "magnifying glass" from the home page. Would it be a problem with future screen updates to shift the more essential icons and things a little further left on pages for those who don't see so well or perhaps just provide a bar so that we can slide our pages a little to see the bits we are missing? Guest
Are you using the browser or the apps? Which type of client are you using for the server, in other words and what version? Scaling should display correctly in most apps.. if they written to do so and system settings are correct.

Guest
Microsoft Edge-Version 90.0.818.62 (Official build) (64-bit) Windows 10 Pro 20H2 19042.985 1920 x 1080 - 50" NORMAL 125% 500% BROWSER @ SYSTEM 125% The WebUI scales.. I seen it happen ONCE.. and it was an temporary thing... a page refresh corrects it meaning this probably a browser issue,, But consistently is showing what I have posted above. As you can tell... you retain all features with scrolling left and right as well as up and down.. The only thing that actually gets squished or removed is the viewable area and on my Video.. even at 500% I still retain controls... It is possible that this may be caused by the screen configuration or setting on the hardware itself or elsewhere in your system that is actually ZOOMING your image enough to cut off the outside edges of what is presented. If it is consistently a problem for you.. I would refrain from the 'ZOOMING' while watching your media and and use the browser's options to enlarge items. as this will make them larger... without loss. The above images were taken from a 50" 1080p screen/hardware. I could have run it from the block over..LOL Edited May 17, 2021 by Guest
Carlo 4328
Hi, just curious if you thought of changing your screen display settings as a whole using a lower resolution which will make everything bigger and not cause scaling issues.
Bazmax 1
Lowered the resolution but the problem still exists.

Guest
I see Search on that screenshot .. is the gear still missing from the Movies when they are played? Edited May 18, 2021 by Guest
Luke 36881
You're not losing those functions, but rather the app is just dropping into a different layout intended for smaller screens.
Bazmax 1
The display was already set to desktop so I tried it at automatic without any change occurring and set it back to desktop. The screen grab shows a movie in theatre. Not sure why I get the odd bit of double vision in the community forum.

visproduction 119
Is everyone using the same method to zoom. There is browser zoom hold Control key down and move the middle mouse scroll wheel or adjust the browser magnification in the browser, which varies how to do that per browser. And there is also Windows zoom inside Windows display settings. And then finally there is monitor size settings, which I don't think is the issue. Is Bazmax maybe using Windows resize and everyone else is using Browser resize? Just a guess.
Smashpen 1
I use custom CSS styles to adjust a lot of the theme styles. It is very tricky and time consuming to make a lot of changes. I am happy to report on the actual code updates if anyone is interested. This is my part of current content playback page for Mobile and Desktop.
