yanco 0
Hi, some of my user profile settings are not saved/restored. When I change the theme, activate backgrounds, screensavers or anything else on that page everything works as long as I don't close the browser window. Reopening it resets everything. I looked at the user files via ssh but couldn't find any xml tags for some of the settings (as above) although there all the other values stored. I created a new profile and tried to do the changes, but it didn't work. I'm using EmbyServer on a Qnap nas. Version 4.5.4.0 Any Idea what I can do? Luke 36884
Hi, sounds like browsing data is getting cleared. Prevent that and it should resolve it
yanco 0
Can you please be more clear about what to do? I tried another browser, but this didn't work. So how can I prevent clearing browsing data?
Happy2Play 8140
A lot of setting are client setting and saved on client only (ie cookies). There is no save and restore of these settings. So if you have a browser setting that deletes cookies/cache settings then you have to apply said setting every time. Every browser has a history/privacy setting and or third party tools that can clear your history/cache.
