Jman5150 3
Looking to build a emby system that uses oppo 203 as a player out of a mac mini. I dont have the money for a new faster mac to have the processing power for 4k hdr /Dv and stuck for now with a mac mini 2014, fast for the year...but not now. I have 4k Dolbyvision mkv/ backup (full disk) movies that i know wont process on such a slow machine ...so looking for work around. if, for now, i focus on having the movies sent dlna to the oppo ethernet port instead of the HDMI in, would i bypass the need for a stronger processor and get by with my 2014 mac mini? Or does it not work that way.
Luke 36884
HI, I suppose you could do that. It depends on what media formats your Oppo supports.
Jman5150 3
It seems to play the main ones im using off usb. Not sure how that changes over a network. Ive gotten everything to play that way (mkv, bluray/4k, mp4, etc.) except dvd. Going to give it a try. forgive the delayed reply. I saw a shiny penny.
