Hello,

The guide data for the above channel (NHK World) suddenly went 3 hours off schedule (behind - as in the guide is showing things 3 hours behind the actual broadcast).

It just started doing this, so I'm wondering if somebody changed the wrong time zone's guide data for the channel.  The other channels seem to be correct.

As you can see from the screenshot, it thinks it is on NHK Documentary, but it is actually Wild Hokkaido!, which is 3 hours later, according to the guide.

Hi, This is Emby Guide Data correct?

If so can you PM me the postal code used for the guide data and the provider (what cable provider).

I'll then forward this to on to get it corrected.

Thanks,
Carlo

@cayars  Sorry, the guide data is wrong again, looks like somebody went in and changed it again.  I sent you a PM.

Here's a comparison between NHK World's own TV schedule and Emby's Guid Data:

@cayars  Not sure if you can tell them, but NHK World is a single live global feed.  So all the local times will be different for each time zone.  I'm wondering if somebody is just slapping the Eastern time zone's schedule on all the time zones without checking.

Thanks!

That was actually my thought.

But they will get it worked out.  Most likely it's nothing our provider is doing but their feed from the network.  Our provider is actually really good but they are limited by the info sent to them by the networks (often not optimal).  So sometimes we report it to them and they in turn have to report it to the network to fix.

I''ve reopened this on my personal list of things to track with our provider so know we are doing what we can for you.

@cayars  Another follow up.  The guide has been correct for the last 3 days.  Looks like the fix is sticking this time.

Thanks for the help!

Sure thing.  Let us know if you see any channels off again so we can report it quickly.

@cayars  OK, this is getting a bit annoying.  The guide is incorrect again:

Is there a way to get them to actually figure out why it keeps changing back?

It's not our guide provider but the station sending the info in this case. Both our guide provider and us users our at their mercy.

I just reported before responding (again).
I used your screen shots, hope you don't mind. :)

No worries, and sorry, yes, I'm annoyed at whoever is sending the bad data.  🙂

LOL, probably an intern at the station or something like that. :)
