Does the weather feature still work in Classic?

Hi all,

 

I've been trying to get the weather option working on media browser classic.  I'm currently using Chocolate theme.  I've tried different codes in the Classic options but nothing seems to work.  I don't get any weather details displaying on the EHS.

You need the yahoo weather code.

To answer your question, yes it does work.

 

 

Here's how I find my weather location code in New York:
1) Go to http://weather.yahoo.com/ and type in your zip code (your city or detect my location).
2) If there is more than one choice, pick the one you want.
3) Locate the link "extended forecast" under "6-10 day" column. Click it.
4) Look at the URL address bar. You should see something like
www.weather.com/...../extended/xxxxxx
The 8-letter code xxxxxx should be your weather location code. In my case it's USNY0996
