It really looks like a problem on the server/server config side to me.

If you go here:

http://10.1.1.115:8096/mediabrowser/Users/df3fadf92c79e676e63d71ab017ce576/items?ParentId=7e32077ec05ff41f97276393307b63d6&IsVirtualUnaired=false&IsMissing=False&Fields=EpisodeCount,SeasonCount,Path,Genres,Studios,CumulativeRunTimeTicks,MediaStreams,People,Overview&SortOrder=Ascending&SortBy=SortName&Genres=

Do you see your TV shows?

Can you browse TV fine through the web interface?

[EDIT]

@@Luke - seeing this in the returned error header.  Any ideas?

('server', 'Mono-HTTPAPI/1.0'), ('x-application-error-code', 'Index and length must refer to a location within the string. Parameter name: length')

Good point.

@@pstar , the MediaBrowser log is here:

%appdata%\MediaBrowser-Server\logs

That assumes you are running on Windows.

Hi guys.

Server is set up with UNC paths.

--PATH ("\\server\folder1\TV Shows")

----tv show title

----------Season 01

------------------Episodes

Under the server set up. I picked TV shows and added the paths for my TV shows. There are 8 paths in then library.

Did the same for movies and music.

From the web browser is all seems to work fine. No errors popping up. And can watch episodes after picking them from all TV shows.

From the XBMB3C add-on only the "all TV shows" and "TV Shows" give the error loading the list. And can watch episodes from recently added and continuing.

I'm not at home at the moment so I'll attach logs later.

I haven't removed and re-added the TV library.

I can give that a go.

it will be resolved for the next server release.

Is there any work-around he can try?

it looks like his series or episodes, or something, have bad or really long people names. so he can try cleaning them up. the fix will be to recover from the failure and continue on.

Thanks Luke.

@@pstar - you can turn off 'People' in the XBMB3C Metadata settings - it isn't needed with most modified skins anymore anyway.

Hello Dev team

I turned off "People" in the XBMB3C add-on and on the server and that got it to work.

It did have a error a couple of times but allowed me to continue and browse through the TV shows via "TV Shows" and "All TV Shows" in the XBMB3C add-on. So all is good.

Your 1st link gave me this page

https://mega.co.nz/#!wwRHVDZS!8a3zHFx97rFao6J0Exlsrlw_0Xj4FCBl3yvFQDnOglo

the 2nd link

So Turning of the "people" option and the auto enter single season seem to fix things for me.

Thanks for your help on this.

Okay - thanks.

You should be able to turn 'auto enter' back on I think.
