Mizar 0
Bin für jeden Tip dankbar. ffprobe-20210217-122506.log Edited February 18, 2021 by Mizar
Mizar 0
Dear Emby fellows, I have got a lot of recordings in ts container format on my NAS recorded with an Hauppage quad tuner card. None of these can be played on my Panasonic TV (TX-32FSX609). While the TV set recognizes the videos correctly (format and preview thumb), it fails to play them, showing just "please wait" and then quits after a while. For test purposes I installed Plex in parallel. With this config the videos a played correctly. (I do not want to use Plex permanently, though, due to other issues.) I suppose that some fancy background transcoding in Emby does not work as expected, but cannot figure out, how to modify the transcoding settings. The videos are recorded with tvheadend. So I could as well create other containers and codecs, if I only would know which combination of formats may work. I want to preserve especially the ac3 (Dolby 5.0) audio streams. I appreciate any hint or recommendation. Attached is an example ffprobe log of one of the files. ffprobe-20210217-122506.log Please note that I already posted a dub in German thread. Mizar 0
The remux log for the example file is from 2021-02-17 18:39:53.975 I uploaded the wrong server log. This is the correct one: embyserver-63749187831.txt
Luke 37022
The remux log is from chrome on android so i don't think that applies.
Luke 37022
And along these lines, I see no mention of Panasonic here, only Chrome on Android.
Mizar 0
Sorry again, I mistook the files from yesterday evening where I tried a lot. These two fresh logs now should show the actual situation: embyserver.txt ffmpeg-directstream-96280d62-a210-4108-b8b0-63c0d117668a_1.txt

Luke 37022
In other words, does it convert the audio?
Mizar 0
Don't know, but I can try to figure this out. But I am not realy familiar with Plex.
Luke 37022
Yea just take a screenshot of the playback status on their dashboard. I think that should tell us. Thanks.
Mizar 0
Seems so that no transcoding takes place ... Edited February 20, 2021 by Mizar Image deleted due to revealed email address
