Hello, I have a question / idea.
My server with all the disks is actually only there for emby. Most of the time he is bored and eats electricity from boredom.
My idea is to switch a Raspberry Pi in front of it and always wake up the server when I want to watch a movie.
My question about this is, is it possible that I have a complete emby on my Raspberry pi and the server only starts when it is needed? (For transcoding and so)
I am aware that I will have to wait a minute for the film to come on and will gladly accept it.

if there are simpler methods or this has long been achieved, but I did not manage to find the solution, a link to the solution is also welcome.

Many Thanks
slevin

Hi, Emby Server will still need to be running in order for your apps to browse the content. Does that answer your question?
