jonboyuk 12
Hi all, I've noticed that I cannot get the correct aspect ratio on my Samsung S21 Ultra which has a 20:9 ratio. In Auto, I get the following. That is, 16:9 squashed into 4:3 On cover, 16:9 is stretched to 20:9 (as expected) On fill, well this works too. Is there anything that can be done about this please? Thanks
Luke 37060
Hi, so it's just auto that's a problem?

I just wanted to show that the others are working fine Although I have no intention of using them, it's just Auto I need.

jonboyuk 12
Just thought I'd add to this, I've since tried using the PVR element, which while it works well, the recordings are also subjected to this squashed view!
Luke 37060
Can you provide a sample recording for testing?
jonboyuk 12
Hi Luke I can provide a sample test if you like - but I have to confess I'm not sure it will reveal anything since the issue is only with live streaming or recording playback on my phone. If I view the recordings on my PC they are as expected. Here's a recording of a movie from HDHR. The top is the playback on my S21Ultra, the bottom is the same recording on my PC (Emby Theatre). Some observations/conditions that this occurs: It only happens with 16:9 content It only seems to trigger on SD streams Sadly the majority of the stuff you get FTA on UK terrestrial is both SD and 16:9 so it's affects quite a lot. Samsung S21 Ultra it's as if it's forcing 16:9 into 4:3. Windows - Emby Theatre App Windows - Browser (Edge) I've attached a small sample recording - Morocco to Timbuktu An Arabian Adventure S01E01 Episode One.ts - for you to test. As you'll see on a PC it's fine But if you can try playing the file back on Emby Android it looks like this (this is a screenshot from my S21 anyway!) Thanks. Luke 37060
Thanks. Have you tried with the new 3.1.80 release?
