justinrh 174
When I try to play a particular movie on my beautiful Roku, I get nothing. I get just a black screen or the poster or reversion back to the item detail page. Logs attached. Any clue as to the reason for failure?logs fighter.zip the_fighter_mediaInfo.txt The movie plays fine w/o any CPU load using the web UI. Ronstang 201
If the movie plays on your computer but not on your ROKU then I would assume it might be an incompatible format of some type. What is the source of this movie and what format is it in?
Ronstang 201
Do you have another movie in the exact same format and source as the one that currently won't play on your ROKU? If so see if it plays OK.
Happy2Play 8242
Nothing is standing out, but moving this topic to the Roku section. I guess one test would be disabling transcode throttling to see if it makes a difference. Another would be loading the Emby Roku beta channel. You can see the private channel on the Right. justinrh 174
It is not the container. The audio would have to transcode; the video should not have to transcode. I have not ever installed a beta build.
