nightslashs 0 Posted January 16, 2021 Share Posted January 16, 2021 Don't have a windows computer to test this but on MacOS Big Sur in the safari and Firefox browsers if you are watching an MKV with an embedded ASS subtitle file when you enter Picture in Picture mode it will not carry the subtitles over the pop out. When you use any other subtitle format the subtitle will follow over this only occurs on ASS subtitles. Please let me know if more information is needed or if you need any server logs or screenshots! There's nothing we can do about this because the subtitles are not rendered by the browser video player due to it not supporting the ASS/SSA subtitle formats. We render them independently on top of the video surface and it's not possible to carry this over to the browser's PIP feature.
