Hello

When I try to add a path on an external hard disk, it does not appear in the library section, but I can access it through the file browser on the system.

attention: I am using  raspberry pi OS.

thank you.

yes

But when  type the path then click "ok" get this  message "The path could not found. Please ensure the path is valid and try again"

How is it connected to the RPI, via USB? Are you sure you entered the correct path?

Check your permissions for the directories and files on the drive.  the emby user should have group access at every level.  Open a terminal and navigate to the drive, then type in: ls -l  then enter and post the results, then do the same for each directory on the drive.

Also, in a terminal type in: groups emby and post that result.
