Okay I refreshed the metadata. This time results were a bit different. It did slowly transcode, it didn't stop playing saying there were no compatible streams. But it shouldn't be trying to transcode at all.

There is still something a bit odd. Did the file originally have more streams, then you deleted some?

can you try making a copy of this file with a different name, and add it to a new folder with the sub file, then try playing it when the server has found and scanned it.

I can't remember  it's possible the subtitles were embedded at one point. And the audio might have been swapped out as handbrake doesn't handle pcm audio so when I re-encoded it to x265 I removed the converted audio and added the pcm back in.

OK, I know what's going on here.  It only affects 2019 models.  Just need to work out a fix.
