Completed Android TV App - Accept Unsigned SSL Certs

The Emby Android app and various other media players (such as Kodi) can accept unsigned SSL certificates.

Can this feature be added to the Emby Android TV app? My firewall/network setup makes it very difficult to maintain a signed certificate.
