chromecast TV, app won't log back in after being closed

i recently bought the net chromecast TV
it is a reskined Android TV dongle and will run the android tv app
but every time i exit the app and or open a difrent app i cant get the app to work...
it just sits on the loading screen, 5 mins later it dose a little popup saying the username and or password are incorrect.
if you change it to login everytime it opens, it can see the server and try to connect but it dosnt give the user tiles or let you login manually
i have to uninstall and reinstall the app every time i wish to use it

dose anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

p.s. i cant remember how to submit the logs on android tv app!??

Hi.  Make sure that the IP address shown on your server dashboard is correct.  If it isn't, please use the settings to correct it and see if that clears this up.

BTW - the message says it timed out, not that it was an invalid password.

i have been ysing emby for 4or5 years and for 2or3 years with multiple android tv boxes or tv's and have never had to use that
i kinda forgot it was there
