no external subtitles when transcode

If I play a video with an external subtitle in DirectPlay method, the subtitle shows, but Chinese words are too small (as screenshot_1.jpg).

If I switch  to Transcode method, the subtitle doesn't show (as screenshot_2.jpg).

Server version: 4.5.2.0

Android Mobile version: 3.1.60

My phone & tablet both seem to be having the issue with subs not showing while transcoding.
Subtitles aren't external though and ASS files.
I am pretty sure those same files worked fine last weekend though.

Works fine on Emby Theatre as that has no need to transcode I guess.
