Hi

I have a emby server 4.5.2 on synology (DS418play)

A shield tv with emby 1.8.28g

A windows 10 computer with chrome

an iPhone 11 pro with emby 1.9.9 (7) beta

I managed to install xteve through docker on my synology and customised an M3U and an xml files

I added them in Emby and I have all my channels with the proper logos and epg

But i just discovered that for some channels, I have no audio through the shield or the chrome browser whereas I have audio for the same channels through the ios app

If I change the quality to trigger a transcode, then I get audio

Enclosed is the log for the same channel (BFM) trying to be played with the shield first then with the ios app. I have the same problem with fox news but I didn't make it appear in the log

Thanks a lot

Also, if I change the quality to trigger a transcode and then I go back to auto, I have then a direct stream with sound

Looks like the audio is being lopped off by ffmpeg:

I kept customizing xteve to also being able to access it remotly with username and password, i deleted the m3u and xlm from emby and added the new ones and now it works.

Weird but nice. I can wait for the next live tv version happily.

Just a thought : I tried tivimate on the shield this morning and this is quite nice, maybe some ideas can be a inspiration for the next live tv version

Thanks guys !

Thanks for the update, so in xteve are you still using the buffering?

TiviMate is nice especially the multiview (registered version).  I like this for watching multiple NFL football games on the Shield.

Nope I disabled the buffer and it works. With the epg, the proper order and the propers logos. Really nice.

I have only one stream with my provider unfortunately so no multiview

i hope that PiP will be in the next Emby live tv version, it would be nice not to have to use the browser on iPhone and iPad.
