Live TV- Listas M3U

Buenos días,  he estado probando el Live TV con una cuenta premiere y la verdad que va de lujo. Uso por debajo Xteve para pasar el m3u y todo ok. El problema es que quiero compartir dicha lista, y como solo permite una conexion he puesto otra con una conexion; claro, haciendolo así me multiplica los canales y ademas si ya hay alguien viendo una de las listas, es probar hasta que te de la otra libre (por poner un ejemplo, me encuentro con 3 canales de Cuatro (SD, HD, FHD) de una lista y 3 de otra con el mismo canal, un follon y poco práctico). Lo más sencillo sería un proveedor que diera la posibilidad de multiples streams pero no encuentro ninguno (alguno que da lo máximo 3 pero nada mas).

He visto un post que parece pedir justo lo que digo:

pero hasta que este desarrollo este disponible he intentado ver mas posibilidades. Xteve es una pasada, pero no veo que tenga posibilidad de hacer esto y no encuentro ningún programa similar para realizarlo. También en leido en algun post similar, que el proveedor de IPTV solo veria el servidor de Emby, pero entiendo que si se estan solicitando varios streams si que lo vea....

He probado a meter listas y mediante etiquetas hacer que un usuario solo vea los canales con esa etiqueta; ademas de que e sun peñazo meter 90 etiquetas una a una, aunque solo vea los canale sque le he marcado (de una lista) realmente estoy multiplicando los canales que maneja emby lo cual tampoco parece solución... ¿Alguien que haya podido investigar el tema puede darme un poco de luz?. What region or country channels are you most interested in?

Seems the main issue you have is lack of multiple connections which I can likely help you with.

¿Que tipo de lista usas? Supongo que se trata de alguna lista m3u obtenida de internet, ya que en España no hay ningún proveedor que lo permita, con Movistar se podía, pero actualmente el 90% de canales tiene DRM.  Estas listas suelen admitir una única conexión, las hay que permiten multirroom, admitiendo hasta 3 conexiones simultáneas. En este caso, Emby no puede hacer nada, ya que es el proveedor que limita el uso simultáneo de conexiones por usuario a sus servidores. Podemos añadir listas adicionales para permitir más sintonizaciones simultáneas, pero eso creará canales duplicados.

Buenos días, aprovecho para marcar una duda; lei que era mejor que xTeve no  'manejara' el nº de canales a usar, en parte por el tema del buffer y que emby ya gestionaba el buffer y era mejor que lo gestionara entero emby (esto lo he leido por el foro, no obstante confirmadme por si lo he entendido mal). Por lo tanto dejo que xteve pase directamtne el canal al cliente para que lo gestione pero veo que a veces emby lo deja 'enganchado' como si el canal estuviera en uso y no es asi:

tengo configurado un maxim ode 3 streams, en esas lineas vemos que pasa de 0 1... cuadno en realidad tenia 4 a la vez puestos (superando el limite de 3) y al quitar uno pasa de 0 a 1 (¿?)a veces creo que la velocidad de cambio de canales hace que se quede enganchado o similar. Creo que seria interesante que si emby es quien limita el nº de canales, esto se vea en algun sitio aparte de en los logs (puede que aparezca, pero yo no lo he visto). Lo dejo ahí como idea en caso de que no esté.

PD- ¿relamente e smejor que los streams les maneje emby y no xteve?. Este si que muestra que no hay más xtreams disponible y aunque a veces la velocidad en el cambio de canales le puede 'equivocar', parece un poco más fiable. Muchas gracias!

Hi, you likely want to set the stream limit in both xTeVe and in Emby but in Emby for sure, optional in xTeVe.

@cayars, is the usage of xTeVe documented somewhere? Knowledgebase maybe?

Not that I'm aware of.

People use it for different things so it would be a bit difficult to document it's use which is likely why even on the dev site for it there is little documentation.

I know in the Next Version of Live TV the need for xTeVe is all but eliminated for most people.

Buenas tardes cayars, si marco la opcion de 'No buffer, clients connect to the streaming server' en xTeve para que sea Emby quien gestione los canales, no me deja limitar los canales ya que supone que es el cliente quien lo gestiona (ver imagen xteve.JPG) y me pasan cosas como esta:

Como ves marca 4 Streams cuando yo tengo marcado que solo llegue hasta 3 stream simultaneos (ver emby1.jpg). Por eso pregunto cual es la mejor manera de controlar y limitar los streams simultaneos. Si dejo la opción de que xTeve sea quien conecte al servidor de streaming, ¿Que configuración de buffer le pondriais, la mas alta, la mas baja o intermedia?. He leido como cometnaba que Emby hace su propio buffer y este doble buffer da problemas. Ya me decís si podeis ayudarme, muchas gracias.

I'd set the tuner count in xTeVe as well to 3.

I do not use the buffer in xTeVe personally as I've not needed it.  It can be of use or problematic connections with high latency to the provider but ads more time to the chain of events slowing down tuning.

This has been around for a couple of months now.
Will it be Emby's christmas gift to his users?

Looking forward to it as I plan to use Emby as DVR as well.
