T800 9
I got an android box for my son. An EASYTONE Android TV Box 9.0,T95 When I play some files there is no sound. This is the same on AAC, Dolby and Dolby+. My other two son's android box work fine. The ony way I can get it to work is to select playback correction twice for each file. Can anyone advise on a proper fix, please? EDIT: I've tried all android box sound options as well as 'auto' and 'downmix to stereo' in Emby. The black screenshot shows the first time, blue one is second and the parrot is the 3rd time where it finally works. ebr 14910
That's interesting as the audio is being converted the same way in all three instances. Can you repeat that and then send a log from the app?

ebr 14910
Can i please see the three ffmpeg logs that go with those three playback attempts? It looks like the audio is identical in all three of them.

ebr 14910
Okay, my suspicion was correct. The box doesn't support AAC 5.1 and that's what we're trying to feed it all but the last time (where as a last ditch we convert to stereo). It also doesn't support any kind of Dolby codec which is really odd because it reports that it supports 8 channel audio. Not sure what format of multi-channel audio it does support... We'll have to see if we can discover this situation better on these off-brand boxes. Thanks.
