This may have been asked, but is there not a way to see what the quality of a live TV stream is on Apple TV? On my shield I can see if it's 1080i, 720p etc. Also, is there ever a plan to bring stats like the stats for nerds, over to the Apple TV so we can see what's going on as well?

@corey thanks for the feeback. It'd be great for us to be able to see and have some of the same functionality of the other apps!

I’d love to see this feature as well. I had to turn off in Apple TV video settings the following:

“HDR” turned to off,

“match range and frame rate” turned to off

and set playback to SDR.

I also had to turn off MPV in Emby playback settings.

In doing this I’m curious when in Emby and I am watching a 4K HEVC movie now if it’s actually 4K still or scaled back to 1080p
