NDInnova 0
Hi apparently Emby cannot record programs off "Disney XD" in my location. Pretty much every single recording cannot be played in vlc and cannot be indexed by avidemux to cut out commercials. When I looked at the logs I noticed the recordings tended to be on the same hdhr, so I removed it but recordings are still corrupt. If I set up plex to record the same programs at the same time they are all perfectly fine and none are corrupt. Mediainfo has no problem analyzing the video, but ffprobe has return code of zero, but reports "Invalid frame dimensions 0x0". The channel is a 720p channel. I haven't encountered this on any other channel. Has something like this been reported?
Luke 36887
Hi there, do these channels have DRM? How did you import your Live TV into Emby?
NDInnova 0
zero drm and emby is recording them directly via hdhr.
Luke 36887
Hi, are you still running into this?
NDInnova 0
Since every recording was corrupt I switched that channel back to record in plex. I'll make a test recording later and see if anything has changed.
NDInnova 0
So the show I chose last night recorded and plays back fine. I'll have to try a few more recordings of shows that were failing as I just picked something random last night.
