mhendu 0 Posted October 21, 2020 Share Posted October 21, 2020 I've recently upgrade firmware to the latest version on my Chromecast with Google TV. This has resolved some of the playback issues I was having - notably, some 4K content plays OK now and Atmos audio transcodes to 5.1 Dolby Digital. However, I'm still having issues playing 4K UHD BD rips - the 'wheel' just spins and no video is displayed, while audio goes in and out in the background. These files do work correctly on Plex (I assume they're being transcoded). Would love to resolve outstanding playback issues on the Chromecast. Thanks!
