M3U Tuner Login for Emby

We are gonna need ability to use M3U Provider Login to use our TV in Emby....

Any word on when you could add that?

This is just a regular m3u tuner host, right? Normally you can put your username and password in the url.

m3u is just a file or URL to the system.  There is no "login" used for this.

If you have to login to download a m3u file that's far outside the norm and will break most apps since this is very uncommon.  In this case the proper thing to do is manually download the file and then point your apps including Emby to the local m3u file you've downloaded.

If the login is only needed when retrieving the m3u file you could try the standard login for URLs similar to:

http://username:password@www.somedomain.com/some_thing

I think he's talking about a lot of providers moving away from m3u streams and instead forcing XC/API integration.

FWIW, m3u4u.com can take an CX login and make a m3u url out of it.

As @jad3675 stated above many providers are blocking m3u downloads and instead forcing XC/API integration.

One of my providers has done this and I can no longer use it in Emby.

I apologize but we will not be building direct integration to XC into Emby.

That site will be blocked my most providers soon.
