Peninha 0
Emby Server 4.5.2.0 update not showing in Synology's package center. In fact it seems I'm missing further older updates. I'm currently running 4.4.3.0-1, package centre shows no updates available for Synology, any ideas\ suggestions? In
FrostByte 5044
That's correct the old repository is no longer being used. You can remove the old repository if you wish. The only way to get updates as of right now is to do a manual install of the spk. Once you do a manual install the next update message in the Dashboard will change and instead give you a link to where the spk files are located After Luke gets Emby added to the Synology store then you can use that method also. Peninha 0
Thank you FrostByte, downloading manually now, why they have changed something that worked so well I don't know...
FrostByte 5044
Part of the reason I believe was that it added a delay in getting releases out because Synology would always do their own thing before uploading it. So, for beta testers at least this is good because we can get new builds right away. For the others the choice would be nice. The store should be better (easier to set up, etc) than the old repository and really the best solution if wanting to use DSM, but it doesn't seem to be a quick thing
Peninha 0
Was struggling a bit with this , but after trying to install incompatible versions and doing some research my package version for DS216j - (Armada38x ) seemed to be ARMv7 (all other ARMv7 models), but the download link for that is dead, coming up with 404 message below, only the BETA version seems to be available at this moment. But then after installing it , emby just stops immediately after running it. And wont connect "This site can’t be reached" Edited October 17, 2020 by Peninha

No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details." Peninha 0
Hey Luke, please see attached two examples, i can see "VideoCodecNotSupported" on the logs but this should not be the case. This happens on both windows 10 pc and lg smart tv (Webos OS), i was able to play these yesterday before upgrading. Funnily enough , some videos play on my Android phone. Peninha 0
I thought these were it, not sure where/ how to get any further logs from... Honestly, if I could just revert to V 4.4.3.0-1 i'd be happy (ARMv7 - all other ARMv7 models) If I can get the link for that as a last resort? Happy2Play 8252
Dev will have to comment but server log pretty much shows the same. Happy2Play 8252
@Luke shouldn't these paths be the same, not mixed? Just comparing with older logs. Command line: /volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /volume1/Emby -ffdetect /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/bin/ffprobe -nolocalportconfig -ignore_vaapi_enabled_flag -updatepackage emby-server-synology_{version}_armv7_legacy.spk But looking at other same version logs it appear to be correct. Peninha 0
I've uninstalled and reinstalled 4.5.2.0 legacy and issue persists. Wish I never touched 4.4.3.0-1... Peninha 0
Thank you but none of those work for me, Armv7 not supported or incompatible. I'll try to find some other version... now I got nothing installed
Peninha 0
Last try today, installing 4.6.0.2 BETA (as the stable one is not available for download on the link provided at ), the app stops\ won't connect to server (screenshot below. Tried for the 3rd or 4th time (or 5th) version 4.5.2.0 (_armv7_legacy) , it installs, but again get :"Playback Error. No compatible streams are currently available. ", although curiously enough, most seem to work on my Android phone, not windows 10 nor LG tv. If I could get a working link for older versions such as V 4.4.3.0-1 (ARMv7 - all other ARMv7 models), I'd stay put with that, as itg was working fine. Luke 37024
For 4.4.3 you'd have to use the old repository method by adding https://synology.emby.media as a package source. We're looking into the issue with the newer packages. Thanks.
