jinxed 4 Posted October 15, 2020 Share Posted October 15, 2020 So i have a AndroidTv where emby is installed, 4k playback works fine using the android tv app. I also have another tv with a chromecast 3. 4k is not possible to cast so i upgraded to a chromecast ultra. Same result not working. Trying the web browser is also not working to play the file. The emby server is installed on my synology DS118 Is this because my synology is not powerfull enough ? I'm seeing a loader instead of a black screen. Still no video playback. Hi Luke, Where their any updates recently on the android app ? I have encountered the problem yes, i'm thinking maybe it was a file format the chromecast doesn't support? Anyway.. I'm still waiting on the new chromecast. The chromecast is sold out in the eu so when i get my hands on one i will definitely check this out.
