RobsterUK 22
This is anissue which seems specific to the LG app. Trying to play an mkv encoded with x265 with vorbis 5.1 audio and .ass subtitles. The file doesn't play. The player opens but stays at zero on the timeline - black screen & no audio. The file plays OK on other devices. I've attached the server log. @ 13:50 I tried to play the episode Raised By Wolves, Episode 4 Nature's Course. @around 14:00 tried to play the file which i had remuxed and removed the subtitles. Same thing. @ around 14:58 played the file which I had used ffmpeg to convert the audio to ac3. Still contained the .ass subtitles. It played OK. So it seem the vorbis audio is the issue. There is no transcode log available just the server log. I can easily convert the audio to ac3 or download other files, but thought I would bring it to your attention. embyserver15.10.20.txt
Luke 37024
Hi there, can you provide a sample video for testing? Thanks.
SamES 890
@Luke, based on this previous post, vorbis should be disabled for >2 channel audio. It's probably quicker for you to add this.

SamES 890
@RobsterUK, can you please confirm your TV model? Can you please check the webOS TV Version in the TV Menu (General->About This TV->TV Information). Your sample works fine on my TV (2017 model) but I have another user with a 2018 model with the same issue, who has also provided a sample which works fine for me. (referenced in my post above a few days ago) I suspect that LG may have dropped multi-channel support for vorbis from 2018.

Luke 37024
We are working on getting a new app update out. Thanks.
RobsterUK 22
Thanks for the update. Thought it may have been scheduled if a new build was available. But understand it as to go through the motions with the relevant app store. Keep up the great work!
