niallobr 9
Hi guys, Emby server: 4.5.2.0 Browser: Safari 14.0.1 Theme: Apple TV The biggest issue I've found so far is on the season view. Dark text on a dark background so can't be read. These views have also gotten much darker in recent updates, including the sidebar menu. The fanart seems too visible at times which can clash with the text. This theme used to have a much brighter white overlay with less transparency (sorry I don't have any images to show it). These pages also animate into the viewport slowly now. In terms of look/feel and performance I much prefer the previous design. The only other issue I have seems to occur on all themes, this gap is appearing in all the Dashboard/Settings pages. That's it for now. Thanks for all the hard work on recent releases Edited October 12, 2020 by niallobr
Luke 37008
Hi, the dark on dark is not normal. Do you have any custom css?
niallobr 9
Thanks Luke. No custom CSS added. Some more samples below checked on Firefox 82.0b9. Dark theme– looks great Blue Radiance theme – looks ok but very dark compared with other theme screens Apple TV theme – issue with the sidebar colour, think this whole screen looked better previously, was much lighter Light (purple accent) theme – light colours clashing on the media action buttons. Luke 37008
Hi, we'll take a look at this. Thanks for reporting.
sambehr 0
Hi all - I have this same issue using the app on Samsung smart TV - Apple theme looks great but the description text for episodes is dark/black and completely disappears against the background. Really hoping there’s a workaround or an update to fix this - I really like the theme otherwise.

sambehr 0
Hi again - I’m running emby version 4.5.4.0 Here’s an example of the same text with episode backdrops both light and dark. The show summary text above and the episode titles show up well but the descriptions of each episode is impossible to read with its black/dark text. Luke 37008
How did you install the Samsung app?
sambehr 0
It’s in the menu of the Samsung Frame: Apps. I assume like other Samsung smart TVs it’s running the Tizen OS.
Luke 37008
Of if you installed from the store this should be resolved for the next app update. Thanks.
sambehr 0
Excellent, is there a timetable for when that’ll release?
Luke 37008
As soon as it gets through Samsung review. The USB version is already available.
