This would be a complete different approch, and I will not do that. btw, Kodi has major problems with strm files. Kodi cannot detect the content properly and also 3rd party plugins struggle here. Lot's of plugins use the file extension to detect if it's a video or audio file. In plugin mode, next-gen always has correct extensions (or at least almost correct extensions). Could be anything. Ok, I don't think there are other versions of Batman. I updated to 6.1.2 and scanning. Batman is scanning the episodes, when it completes the scan I will see Batman shows up. I understand that Btw the last update make it a lot useful to use addon mode then other methods , so no need for anything else other than keeping improving emby next-gen Btw how the addon handle artworks where it get the artworks from ? I found that I had duplicates of the Batman series. I have recorded TV shows scattered all over my network, and sometimes I have duplicates on different hard drives. clarkss12 295 Posted October 7, 2021 Share Posted October 7, 2021 Problem of recorded TV shows not showing in the TV section is because the Emby for Kodi is having a hissy-fit if it finds a duplicate of the same TV episode. This is good in that I now know that if I am missing episodes, I have a duplicate that I have to find and eliminate........ However, I have to notice that there are missing episodes to realize that there are duplicate entries.
