Hi,

I have a weird problem.
I have a strm file that works fine on my chrome browser at home but not on my chrome browser at my desktop. You can see the logs as an attachment

Error creating a QSV device
17: 19: 33.983 qsv hwaccel requested for input stream # 0: 0, but cannot be initialized.
17: 19: 33.983 Error while decoding stream # 0: 0: No such device or address
17: 19: 33.983 [segment @ 0000012539500380] Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 1: 1; previous: 5, current: 5; changing to 6. This may result in incorrect timestamps in the output file.
17: 19: 33.983 [segment @ 000001253947e580] Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 2: 1; previous: 5, current: 5; changing to 6. This may result in incorrect timestamps in the output file.
17: 19: 34.019 [AVHWDeviceContext @ 00000125399cd2c0] Error initializing an MFX session: -3.

Do you have an idea? Thank you

Hi, one thing you can try is turning off hardware accelerated transcoding on your server and see if that helps.

woo super fast for your answer thank you.

Ok by disabling hardware acceleration. it's works.

Can you tell me what are the consequences of activating hardware acceleration or not please

And why works fine on my chrome browser at home but not on my chrome browser at my company ?

Thanks

Hi, it just means that transcoding will happen with your CPU instead of the GPU.

Is Windows up to date? Are your graphics drivers up to date? You could try updating everything and then seeing if you can enable hardware transcoding again.
