Thanks. ok i just downloaded the "patched emby" and the tv shows will show all folders now and instead of the seasons being inside the parent folder they are out with the parent folder under tv shows. and still no guide on users with parental control. here is the log. also it shows live tv shows in the tv show recording page, and not on the guide. embyserver.txt Edited September 25, 2020 by Dont1982 adding content Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Carlo 4330 Posted September 25, 2020 Share Posted September 25, 2020 (edited) I helped test this for Luke before release and can say for sure that this version DOES work properly for parental controls using tags on channels if that's what you're talking about. Check the channels you think have tags to make sure you SAVED them. Make sure the user has the tag restriction and it's SAVED as well. Dont1982 4 Posted September 26, 2020 Author Share Posted September 26, 2020 (edited) Everything worked perfectly before this update. I have not changed anything. Other than updating the emby server. The tv show folder still has all the episodes out of the folders and when i go to folder view it has all the seasons outside the parent folder, but on my account with no restrictions everything is as it should. the guide will not show anything for the parental controlled accounts and yes they are tagged and saved and set up correctly. When i change the date on the parental controlled account it will not change, but on the non parental controlled account it changed and shows everything. Please show a pic of content you've tagged that SHOULD show. 2. Please show the setup of the user parental restrictions you have in place. 3. Logged in as the "test" user show us what you see on screen. This will allow us to test and reproduce, like we did previously when we found the issue you reported. Carlo The pictures are out of order but they are all here and a video also, also included are screenshots of a user with no parental controls (its the one where the guide is loaded and the tv shows just show parent folders). This is running on an openmediavault machine. Thanks. according to portainer it is getting embyserver/latest how do i manually pull the image? UPDATE: It was getting the linuxserver.emby/latest. i change it to emby/embyserver:latest and now all is well. I appreciate all the help and the quick response of the member here.
