As DTS is no longer supported by Samsung (since 2018) you are stuck with the server converting the audio which can start to add small issues and possible delays due to cpu and network loads.  Ideally you should try and select an alternative supported track type, or if possible add a compatible track to the original file so that it DirectPlays.

There are also a lot of these error messages in the remux log, so there may be some timing issues with the file which could be causing the audio dropouts

FrostByte

Here is a link to the developers page

It should also be in a chart inside your users manual, probably toward the end.

Looking at the chart anything that isn't specified will need to be converted by either yourself, or the server during playback.  A lot of movies have both a HD and a compatible audio track (usually AC3), then before clicking play you just select the compatible track so it Direct Plays

Have you updated to Emby Server 4.5? Has that helped? (Not expecting it to but just curious) thanks.

The server is up to date! 4.5.0.50

Tried another version of the same movie and the sync seems to stay in place!

I'll try to find other version of the "defective" movies!
