sando8 0
I have set up an Emby server on an android TV box. The media resides on a NAS server which I have added to the library as samba shares. Media is scanned correctly and metadata added but I can't play any video from any client. I get an error: Log file attached. I don't have an FFMPEG log file for some reason. embyserver.txt Edited September 16, 2020 by sando8 Personal information in screen copy. Carlo 4328
Hi, For now can you uninstall the Port Mapper, restart Emby and try this again. Upload the new log file and tell us what video you tried to play back. If you see a log file for the new time frame starting with ffmpeg please upload that as well. Thanks
sando8 0
Thanks for the reply. I uninstalled the Port Mapper plugin, restarted the server and tried to play a 720p H264 video file. Same error. Logs attached. Still no FFMPEG log. Thank you. embyserver (1).txt embyserver-63735936391.txt hardware_detection-63735936524.txt

sando8 0
I have noticed there is no ffmpeg directory under "/data/data/com.emby.embyserver/files/. Did I miss something when I installed it?
Luke 36881
Unfortunately our ffmpeg is failing to load on your device. We're going to have to test ourselves on an H96Max in order to get to the bottom of this.

sando8 0
I have installed ffmpeg successfully using termux. Now I need to somehow direct Emby to this version of ffmpeg.
