rbjtech 4218 Posted September 10, 2020 Share Posted September 10, 2020 So I have noticed that DTS-X Audio tracks feature a far more more pronounced 'height' effect than True-HD Atmos tracks. While the Atmos effects are definitely 'there', some of the DTS-X tracks make you actually 'jump' ! An example of this is Jurassic Park which I just watched in 4K DTS-X and the in the 'Jeep in the tree' scene, I actually instinctively looked up to see if the Jeep was about to fall on me ... Other than the channel volume itself which I can obviously change, I guess there is no way to increase the volume of just the Atmos 'effects' to have the same 'wow' effect ?
