Not possible to log in, wrong username or password

I'm using Canal digital android tuner for my tv. I installed emby app and I tried many times to log in with my username and password, and it will not accept it. Trying pin, webpage says pin is ok but nothing happens. It works well in chrome on web. The server is on a pi. I gave up.

The name is OnePlace. Only place I have special characters is my password

OK from your Canal box in the Emby app and do a manual server setup.

Use your IP of the Pi device as well as your port 8096.

I tried a manual setup local Ip:8096. Username or password is wrong. Tried it about 10 times, does not work. Found out that android version is 7.1.1. No problem connecting to jellyfish or Plex

I created another user, and with a password with only numbers. That worked! So guess the special characters in my master password created problems.

I was going to suggest to try changing your password and see if that helps!
